Birmingham League

Division 1
Division 1 have beaten Warley Quinborne. They are locked in battle against Olton 2A in Terrill round 2.

Division 2
Division 2A lost to Stourbridge in their most recent match.

Division 2B have lost to Solihull.

Division 4
The team have beaten Shirley and are 2½-2½ against Boldmere. They have now lost to Halesowen.

Division 6
The Division 6 team beat Westminster in their latest match. Their match with Wolseley has been agreed for Tuesday 23rd March 2010.

Leamington League

Olton 1A have beaten Solihull in the League.

Olton B drew their latest match against Kenilworth.

Friendly matches

The club played a friendly match against Shirley for Thursday 13th August, at the opponents venue. There was also the annual friendly against South Birmingham at home on Tuesday 1st September. Details of both are on the Friendlies page.

Club Simultaneous

Phil Holt gave a simultaneous display at the club to Olton members on Tuesday 18th August. He won 11 games, drew 4 and lost just one. Rob Wallman was the winning player and Robert Reynolds, Richard Liszewski, Keith Lawson and Pete Singh recorded the draws.

Richard Liszewski went on to draw this game.

Robert Reynolds (2nd from far end) was the only draw here.
